Karaage Chicken

Japanese-style marinated chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A guaranteed favorite for those seeking intense flavor, perfect texture, and a unique experience.

Ingredients

Chicken
  • 1 chicken breast

  • Ground ginger

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Rice vinegar or sake

  • Soy sauce

  • Vegetable oil

  • 1 egg

  • CONDUMIO chili

Breading
  • Wheat or corn flour

  • 1 egg

Preparation

Marinade
  1. In a bowl, add ½ cup rice vinegar or sake, ½ cup soy sauce, 2 cups water, salt, 1 egg yolk, ground ginger, pepper to taste, and CONDUMIO chili sauce. Mix well.

  2. Add the chicken breast, cut into approximately 3 cm cubes.

  3. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Breading
  1. In a deep plate, add wheat or corn flour.

  2. In another plate, add a beaten egg.

Frying
  1. In a pan, add enough oil to cover the chicken cubes and heat.

  2. Dip the chicken cubes first in the beaten egg, then coat with flour until fully covered.

  3. Place the coated chicken in the hot oil and fry until golden and fully cooked.

Plating

  1. Arrange the fried chicken on a large flat plate.

  2. Serve CONDUMIO sauce in two small dipping bowls.
